Well past the point of no return - the bikes and van depart.
OMG was it a tight fit! 50mm to spare!

On Monday 3rd June with HUGE help from the wonderful people at Vehicle Construction and Maintenance we dropped our two bikes at GT International Logistics in Mangere where Phil and KP took them and the Delica off our hands for loading into their container.
The day started early with David and I arriving at VCM with all our riding gear, panniers, spares and parts which were carefully packed into the Delica along with all the side panels etc that had been stripped off the bikes to facilitate loading / make them fit into the container.
Adam at VCM used his trusty old forklift and loaded the bikes into his truck for the journey from Avondale to Mangere.
On Tuesday 4th David and I were more than a little relieved to get an email from Phil "all done & dusted. It all fitted…….just!" As you can see, they only had about 50mm to play with. We were even lucky enough to be able to leave the top box on the Delica - an unexpected bonus.
