The parcels start arriving

After some careful shopping the parts start arriving and start being fitted to the bikes. Sourcing offshore and shopping around has resulted in overall savings in the order of 50%.
Some discussion with the better halves takes place with some consideration given to them flying to Russia and us spending 2-3 weeks in the UK. The logistics started to get too complicated so after quite a bit of planning this idea was filed in the round container under the desk.
The idea had been to purchase a van in Vladivostok and sell it in Moscow. Heads started to say umm let's see what the cost is to buy in NZ where we can have more time to find the right van, get it checked, serviced etc. and ship it up and back with Steve and David's bikes. Turns out the cost is pretty much the same as a full container is pretty much the same as the two bikes plus pallet/packing costs. So it is a no-brainer. David sets to trying to find the best option for a van.
